WHERE: American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX WHEN: 7:30 p.m. CT HOW: Fox Sports Southwest or NBA League Pass THE STORY: In their first game that’s not nationally televised this season also happens to be the first home game of the season for the Dallas Mavericks. They play host to the Charlotte Hornets and hope to bring their record back to .500 with a win. The Hornets come to Dallas with a 1-2 record to match that of Dallas, with their lone win coming against the hot Brooklyn Nets. The Mavericks and Mavericks fans should absolutely take this Hornets team seriously as they can score the ball on anyone. Dallas, in particular, has been very bad at protecting the rim through three games and the Hornets a few players who could exploit this weakness.
